With Harry Kane recently departing Tottenham Hotspur for Bayern Munich, the Premier League giants have reportedly identified an African starlet to potentially become his successor.

According to the Evening Standard, the Premier League giants are plotting a bid for 21-year-old Gent striker Gift Orban, viewing him as Kane's potential long-term successor.
The 21-year-old enjoyed a prolific 2022/23 season with 20 goals in 22 matches, and in this campaign already has five goals in four games across all competitions.
The north Londoners are said to face stiff competition for the pacey attacker, though, while the Belgian side is said to value him at about £25 million (R610 million).
While Spurs' new head coach Ange Postecoglou believed to be a fan of the young star, the Melbourne-raised tactician has insisted that more outgoings are first needed before new incomings are to become a reality.
"We just can't keep bringing players in, we need to move some players out," Postecoglou said.
"That's kind of where our focus is right now.
"Over the next three weeks, what we don't want to do is have it all happen really late in the window which means we're caught short in any areas.
"It's got to work that way. We can't just keep accumulating players. We've got a massive squad as it is at the moment, and we need to work on that.
"Over the next three weeks the priority is to trim the squad down and see where we're at, and then fill the gaps where we need to fill the gaps."

Postecoglou left Hugo Lloris, Tanguy Ndombele, Japhet Tanganga, Sergio Reguilon and Djed Spence out of the squad for their 2-2 draw with Brentford on the weekend, with those players looking likely to likely to join Kane on the way out the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in this window.
