Last week, it emerged that the Senegal international's potential departure is nearing closer after his camp informed the Bundesliga champions that they are in discussions with Al Nassr.
This came days after Bayern head coach Thomas Tuchel publicly criticised the 31-year-old, who scored just 12 goals in his debut campaign in Germany, with the coach admitting the winger largely underwhelmed this past season.
These talks, although in their early stages, have now been confirmed by 69-year-old president Herbert Hainer.
"FC Bayern is informed about that," he said, according to iMiaSanMia.
"That's good style. But as far as I know, these are the first talks. We'll have to wait and see what happens."
If a transfer does materialise, Mane would team up with Cristiano Ronaldo in the Middle East to help boost Al Nassr's chances of challenging for the Saudi Pro League title next season.
