Amid reports that the Red Devils are pushing to add a striker to the team's attacking contingent, it appears progress has made over the club's interest in Atalanta's Rasmus Hojlund.

The 20-year-old has impressed for club and country over the past year, and is believed to be keen on a move to the 20-time English champions.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, United and Hojlund have agreed personal terms on a five-year deal that includes the option of a further 12 months.

This past season's Carabao Cup winners are preparing to launch an official bid this week.
