It seems many are waiting with bated breath to see what happens next in the one-time England international's career.
The 21-year-old has not played a minute of professional football since January 2022, when he was arrested on suspicion of rape and assault.
The Red Devils then suspended the attacker from all football-related activities with them, and he would later be charged with attempted rape, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and controlling and coercive behaviour.
Earlier this year, however, the British authorities dropped the respective charges levelled against the striker, but the club is yet to conclude their own investigation into the matter, and as a result the Bradford native has still not been welcomed back to Carrington.
With United's internal investigation expected to come to a conclusion by the end of the off-season, Ten Hag is yet to work with the Englishman and has now stated that he, too, is waiting to hear the club's final decision on the matter.
"On this, it's a club decision and, of course, I said my opinions, but it's a club decision and we have to accept that," the United boss told members of the media on the weekend, as per Goal. "I can't say so much about it but I shared my opinion about it, so let's see what's going to happen."

Should the record Premier League champions decide to part with Greenwood, even temporarily, it seems Serie A could be his most likely destination with multiple rumours linking the ambidextrous forward with the likes of AS Roma, Juventus and Atalanta.
