As the 2023/24 season draws closer, Sundowns attacking midfielder Neo Maema enjoyed some of his last remaining free time with a dreamy African getaway.
The former Bloemfontein Celtics star seems to have visited a popular Tanzanian island, where he dipped in a blue ocean, fed animals indigenous to the land and more!

Maema's getaway
After a successful 2022/23 season, where he won another DStv Premiership title with Downs, Neo Maema will heading into the new season well-rested after sharing snaps of his holiday.
It seems that Maema enjoyed this holiday before Sundowns headed to Rustenburg for their pre-season camp and shared images of him exploring Zanzibar.

From swimming in warm blue Indian ocean to feeding giant tortoises, Maema was all-smiles during his blissful beachside getaway.
Maema's well-earned holiday in Zanzibar comes after a strong campaign 2022/23 where he featured over 40 times for Rulani Mokwena's men, becoming an integral figure in the star-studded Sundowns team.
Judging from the 27-year-old's Instagram posts, it seems that he visited Changuu Island, a small piece of land that's also known as Prison Island, which is home to a host of giant tortoises that Maema fed lettuce to.
