Retired goalkeeper Brighton Mhlongo was gifted with a sleek new ride by Mini this week.
The Morning Show sports presenter took to Instagram to show off the car, thanking the Mini Midrand dealership and assuring his followers that "electric cars are the future".

Mhlongo receives stunning Mini
Although his playing days are behind him, footballer-turned-broadcaster, Brighton Mhlongo is flourishing like any high-profile baller after receiving a new ride.
Mhlongo will be negotiating the Johannesburg traffic, driving to The Morning Show studios in a Mini Cooper SE, which is valued at R 754 800.
The all-electric three-door hatch boasts a 215 KM electric range, driven by a high-voltage, 96-cell, 32.6 kWh battery pack that's mounted under the floor, which gives it an extra low centre of gravity, which not only improves stability and handling, as mentioned by the Mini site.
