SuperSport Join Race For Eva Nga?

SuperSport Join Race For Eva Nga?

With Orlando Pirates expected to make a decision on the future of Bienvenu Eva Nga, the striker is said to have potential suitors queuing up for his services. Eva Nga has had a disappointing first season with the club after making only 15 appearances in all competitions with just five starts and one goal scored.

For the better part of the 2022/23 campaign, he has been linked with an exit, with his former club Chippa United said to be keen on having him back on their books. It was from the Chilli Boys that the Cameroonian was signed by the Buccaneers after he scored 10 goals from 29 appearances at the end of the 2021/22 season.

Initially, the bulky forward arrived in Mzansi to link up with Bidvest Wits from Mozambican club CD Costa do Sol in 2020 and he played under Gavin Hunt at the Students. With SuperSport currently in search of strikers to add to the team, indications are that Hunt would like to have another look at Eva Nga to possibly reunite with him.

SuperSport currently have Zakhele Lepasa on loan from Pirates and are eager to retain him for another season, although the Soweto giants are understood to be willing to recall the Bafana Bafana striker for what will be a busy season for the team with domestic and CAF Champions League duties. As revealed on page 2 of this edition, Lepasa has also attracted attention overseas.

"SuperSport is monitoring the situation with Eva Nga at Pirates as the club is looking for strikers. Chippa is also interested in reuniting with the player," said a source.

Which club would suite Eva Nga the best at this moment in his career?
