Jali was officially released by Mamelodi Sundowns after his contract was terminated by mutual consent at the end of May.
Since then, Jali's future has been the subject of heavy speculation with Kaizer Chiefs and AmaZulu touted as possible destinations for the 32-year-old.
Speaking to Gagasi FM, Jali's long-term agent Mike Makaab has provided an update on the midfielder's future, hinting that an overseas move could still happen for the Matatiele-born man.
"When we talk about a specific player like Andile Jali, there's a lot of speculation in the media. AJ and I got in touch and he's starting to do his own preparation before the pre-season so that whoever signs him, will get an AJ in the right frame of mind and in the right physical condition," he said.
"I'm hoping that by next week, we'll have a clear indication of where his next step is. Don't rule out an overseas move, don't rule out the Middle East or to China," he continued.
