After an emotional goodbye from the Glamour Boys, Eric "Tower" Mathoho's hometown showed him some love by throwing him a major farewell party.
Kaizer Chiefs supporters came in large numbers to honour Tower, who took to Instagram to share his eventful day which included a "grand convoy".

Mathoho recently parted ways with Amakhosi at the end of the 2022/23 season, with the club choosing a more intimate send-off for one of their longest serving players.
An emotional goodbye at the Kaizer Chiefs Village, with the club's hierarchy present to honour Tower, was clearly just a start of the 33-year-old's farewell tour from the Soweto giants.

Mathoho's farewell event took place at the Elias Nefale Eco Estate's function venue in Makhado, Venda, with artists performing on stage and supporters were allowed close access to their hero for R100 per ticket.
On the way to the event, Mathoho was given a special convoy with Kaizer Chiefs supporters taking to the streets to honour a local club legend.
