According to The Athletic, Ghana star Mohammed Kudus has told the Dutch giants that he will not be renewing his contract at the Johan Cruyff Arena.
The 22-year-old has been arguably de Godenzonen's star player in 2022/23, having scored 18 goals and provided six assists.
However, there are two years left until his contract in the Dutch capital expires, and the record Eredivisie champions are known to sell players if they refuse to extend beyond the 24 months remaining on their deals. It thus appears that the Accra native will be the latest budding star to depart the club.
It is believed Ajax are looking at selling the Right to Dream alumni for £40 million (R964 million), but that price tag could fluctuate depending on the clubs interested.
Currently, the Ghana international is attracting interest from three Premier League giants in the form of the Gunners, the Red Devils and Newcastle United.
The prolific attacking midfielder almost joined Everton last year, but Ajax intervened at the last minute to stop the move from happening and now Kudus looks likely to join a more prestigious club.
