Lionel Messi has reportedly made a final decision on his future at Paris Saint-Germain amid fan protests against the Argentine at the club's headquarters.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the 35-year-old will leave the French giants at the end of the season and has already informed the club of this through his father, Jorge Messi.
It is said that the 2022 FIFA World Cup winner's decision was communicated to PSG's board a month ago, with Messi and his camp believed to be unhappy with the club's sporting project.

The news comes amid his controversial trip to Saudi Arabia, which he took without permission and has subsequently received a two-week suspension for.
Furious fans took it upon themselves to protest against the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner outside of the club's headquarters on Wednesday, showing their discontent with the player's actions and his spell in France in general.

Messi is heavily linked with a return to boyhood side Barcelona, although he is also reported to have an offer on the table from Saudi giants Al Hilal.
