Spanish outlet Diario AS has now reported that the Saudi Arabian could reunite Ronaldo with full-back Alex Telles.
The Brazil international is currently on loan at LaLiga outfit Sevilla, who are not looking to make the move permanent next campaign.
The Saudi Arabian club are now keen on making a move for Telles to strengthen their back four and are capable meeting United's asking price.
Telles is not expected to be the only defender set to leave Old Trafford, with Harry Maguire, Phil Jones, Brandon Williams and Axel Tuanzebe among those that could be on their way out.
The Brazilian international joined the Red Devils from FC Porto in 2020, but only racked up 50 appearances as he played second fiddle to Luke Shaw.
