Mzansi's top FIFA23 talent did not disappoint in their quest to qualify for the FIFAe Nations Playoffs 2023 from the Africa-Middle East region.
South Africa made it out of a tough group dominated by Morocco and Egypt to progress to the FIFAe Nations Play-offs next month.

SAFA gamers progress to playoffs
Led by the SAFA eCup champion Zaid April, Team SA had a nice mix of youth and experience in Thabo Moloi, Kaylan Moodley Julio Bianchi at the FIFAe Nations Online Qualifiers in Dubai.
Out of the four African teams in Group A, South Africa qualified with Morocco and Egypt who finished in first and second in the qualifications groups, with Bahrain finishing third ahead of SA.
In ten matches played, Team SA progressed with a record of three wins, three loses and four draws, finishing on 13 points ahead of Palestine.

The winners from this phase have qualified for the FIFAe Nations Play-offs next month, joining Saudi Arabia and UAE to make the final eight, which will determine the three nations from Zone 3 to book their tickets to the global finals in June as part of the best 24 teams in the world at FIFAe Nations Cup.
