Assistant referee Constantine Hatzidakis will not face any punishment for his apparent raised arm on Reds' left-back Andy Robertson in the Premier League last weekend.
The Scotsman appeared enraged after the linesman' elbow seemed to catch him on the chin during Liverpool's 2-2 draw with Arsenal at Anfield.
Many believed Hatzidakis intentionally tried to hurt Robertson, who had been protesting a decision in close quarters after the whistle was blown for half-time.
According to The Athletic, a spokesperson for the FA said: "We have thoroughly reviewed all of the evidence in relation to the recent incident at Anfield involving the Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson and match official Constantine Hatzidakis, and we will be taking no further action.
"Our comprehensive process involved reviewing detailed statements from Liverpool and PGMOL, as well as multiple angles of video footage, in relation to both the incident and its surrounding circumstances."
