The FIFA international break will give a few of Mamelodi Sundowns' stars a chance to make their way back from injury, as the final stretch of the campaign will test the club as they chase a historic treble which includes the CAF Champions League title.
One of the key men likely to make a return to the side immediately after the break is midfielder Sphelele Mkhulise, who has been out nursing an injury which kept him out of the final Bafana Bafana squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Liberia.

Mkhulise had been in great form before picking up an injury in the Champions League group stage clash against Al Ahly in Cairo, but chances are that he could be back on the pitch by the time the international break is over, to give Sundowns a boost in the final stages of the campaign.
Mkhulise has forced his way into the team after a slow start to the season and is one of the players will definitely rely on in their attempt to finally get a second Champions League title.
Experienced midfielder Bongani Zungu is another player who could be closer to a return. Before the clash against Ahly at Loftus on March 11, head coach Rulani Mokwena stated that the former Amiens player would be out "for another two weeks or so" and, if all goes according to plan, he could be back in early April to give the team more options in the middle of the park.
Some of the other players who are slowly making a comeback at Chloorkop and Lebohang Maboe and Abubeker Nasir, who have been training on the grass.
