The current season remains with only seven games to go and indications are that the future of attacker Lesedi Kapinga is yet to be discussed. A source has revealed to the Siya crew that the player could likely be sent on loan, and SuperSport United and AmaZulu are believed to have shown interest.
"He could have gone in January but the process took long. But now they are talking to the two teams already concerning a loan move. He still has two years left on his contract so it won't be an outright move because that will be expensive for whichever team wants him. So for now they will just loan him out," said the source.
The 27-year-old joined the Brazilians in 2020 and signed a five-year contract which runs until June 2025. Indications are that Sundowns are not open to letting the player go, despite limited game-time since he joined the club.
