Mntambo becomes a father of three
The 33-year-old baller became a father again after him and his wife, Thando, welcomed their third child on Monday.
As per Bloomberg, The EFF called for a national shutdown to protest against load shedding and to apply pressure to President Cyril Ramaphosa to resign.
South Africans were encouraged to be wary and stay safe as their were periodic disruptions, including some road closures, and businesses closing their doors, in mainly in the city centers where marches/demonstrations were held.
It appears that Babina Noko's Mntambo wasn't at training on the day and thanked the EFF leader for organising the march on the day of his daughter's birth so he could be there throughout the process and not stuck at work:
Figo was congratulated by teammate Kamohelo Mokotjo, close friend Zakhele Lepasa and other ex-teammates Thabang Monare, Tshegofatso Mabasa and Happy Jele.
Kaizer Chiefs skipper Itumeleng Khune also took time to congratulate Mntambo on the birth of his newborn.
