As former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Junior Khanye is aiming at making notable contribution to the society, the Daveyton-born multi-talented star has helped a young footballer to get closer to realizing his dream of playing in the professional ranks.
Having started his football academy in 2021, Khanye had a dream to assist aspiring footballers from his community and the surrounding areas in making the step up to professional football.

Speaking about his progress, the ex-South African junior international confirmed that a youngster from the academy has joined SuperSport United for further development.
The youngster is Thobela Malobane and is just 15 years old and a versatile player.
"Yes, Mshishi (Malobane) has joined SuperSport United and we are very proud of him. He is a talented young boy and we wish him the very best in his career," confirmed Khanye.

"We've got some of the best young and talented players in our academy from Under-19 age group and most players are from 14 – 17 years of age. From last year in February, we have been playing regional league football and we finished in second place on the log," he said.
"We were supposed to win that league but tragic happened as we lost one of our boys and one day after we laid him to rest, we were playing a game. We played against Orlando Pirates' Under-19 team and the game ended 3-3. We beat Wits 4-1, we beat Farouk Khan's Stars of Africa 6-1, we played Sekhukhune United's DDC (DStv Diski Challenge) team and drew 1-1, we lost to School of Excellence 5-1 and that was the only game we lost. We beat SuperSport United 2-1," concluded Khanye.
