With Liverpool potentially set to miss out on next season's UEFA Champions League, the club has reportedly made a drastic decision regarding their talisman Mohamed Salah's future.
Man Utd To Make Ronaldo 'Decision' After Cup Win
The Reds have endured an underwhelming campaign under Jurgen Klopp this season, with it appearing unlikely the Merseyside outfit will qualify for Europe's premier club competition for the 2023/24 campaign.
As a consequence, the German tactician will be looking to rejuvenate his team by bringing in some quality signings in the next transfer window, as well as by selling much of the existing squad.
According to Fichajes, a big name who may be on his way out of Anfield come the end of the campaign is Salah.
While the Egyptian has scored 19 goals in 35 matches so far this season, his league form has been sub-par compared to previous campaigns, having only found the back of the net eight times.
It seems Klopp would like to acquire funds to overhaul the squad and Salah's sale presents the opportunity to do that.
As per the same report, the 30-year-old is also open to leaving the Reds if they do not qualify for the Champions League, with Paris Saint-Germain rumoured to be interested in the three-time Premier League Golden Boot winner.
The former AS Roma and Chelsea forward could cost €80 million (R1.5 billion) for any interested parties, with Klopp appearing to view the likes of Luiz Diaz, Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota and Cody Gakpo as the main protagonists of Liverpool's forward line for the future.

The money recouped from a Salah sale will likely be used towards signing teenage midfield sensation Jude Bellingham, a player the six-time European champions have been courting all season long.
