Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed his plans for his future amid the club's recent poor run of form.
Pep Suggests Man City Stars Went Against His Orders
The 2022/23 Premier League campaign has been far from ideal for Klopp and his men, having gone from being on the cusp of winning an historic quadruple last season to now finding themselves languishing in 10th position on the Premier League log.
The Reds have managed to win only eight of their 20 EPL encounters this season, and it is this erratic form that has led many to speculate that their German tactician could make his way out of Anfield.
However, ahead of their crunch Merseyside Derby clash on Monday night, the 55-year-old set the record straight on his future.
"I understand that people would think that way, but I will not go and I cannot go," the Stuttgart native said, as per Goal.
"I have too much responsibility and I want it, and I want to sort it again.
"It is a difficult time, I don't enjoy it, but if we could show in this difficult time that this club is so special because we believe in everything – or people believe in me – then we have to go through this together, because then, when we come out, we will have great times again.
"I am here, 100%, committed.
"If we win I feel like I was part of it but if we lose I feel 100% responsible. I was always like this in my life, so you can imagine how big the responsibility at the moment is and how I feel now.
"We will do absolutely everything to get through this and prepare the very positive future again."
Barca Move 11 Points Clear Of Real With 6th Straight Win
Having signed an extension until 2026 last season, it is believed Klopp will attempt a major off-season squad rebuild in order to once again compete for trophies.
Reports suggest that the six-time European champions are looking at bringing in Borussia Dortmund's Jude Bellingham, Wolverhampton Wanderers' Matheus Nunes and Chelsea's Mason Mount, among others.
