According to Saudi Arabian website Elwatan Sport, Saudi giants Al Ittihad Jeddah are understood to be keen on luring Tau as well as Mohamed Magdy Afsha and Mohamed Sherif to the club, coached by former Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santos.
However, the Saudi giants are said to be using Thalagale's agency, MT Sports and Marketing to make their offer known to the Egyptian giants.
Thlagale is no stranger to Al Ahly, having previously negotiated Mosimane's move to Cairo in 2020 as well as his contract extension this year.
According to the website, Al Ahly are adamant on holding onto the trio, who are a key part of coach Marcelle Kohler's plans this season.
In addition, Tau's agent Mmatsatsi Sefalafala was this week quoted in Kickoff.com saying that the 28-year-old would be staying put with Al Ahly, where he still has an existing contract.
The Siya crew reached out to MT Sports for comment, however emails and text messages went unanswered at the time of publish.
