With Cristiano Ronaldo's future at Manchester United seemingly in doubt, reports suggest that David Beckham has made progress in trying to bring the Portuguese superstar to his club Inter Miami.
Ancelotti Names The Five Best Players He Has Coached
Ronaldo has made headlines this past week after controversial comments he made in a recent interview with British media personality Piers Morgan. The 37-year-old forward has seemingly burnt bridges at Old Trafford, having slighted the manager Erik ten Hag, the club's owners as well as some of his former teammates from his initial spell in the Premier League.
According to The Sun, another former United No. 7 in Beckham has pounced on the opportunity by reaching out to Ronaldo's representatives to see if the Portugal captain would be open to joining the Florida-based outfit. The iconic marksman is interested in a move, with the report suggesting that the Englishman received a positive response from the striker's camp.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Lionel Messi was likely to make the move to Inter Miami, but with Ronaldo's availability even more pertinent at this stage, it seems that Beckham has slightly shifted his focus to recruiting Real Madrid's all-time leading goalscorer.
