Barcelona head coach Xavi Hernandez has reacted to Ousmane Dembele's spectacular display in his side's emphatic LaLiga victory over Athletic Bilbao, managed by ex-Blaugrana manager Ernesto Valverde.
Barca Ready To 'Offload' Four Senior Stars
Following a lull in his recent form, the 25-year-old played a hand in all four of Barcelona's goals in their 4-0 victory over Bilbao at the Camp Nou on Sunday night.
The Frenchman opened the scoring in the 12th minute with an impressive header from a Robert Lewandowski cross, before turning provider for Sergi Roberto just six minutes later.
Dembele was involved again when he set up Lewandowski's 17th goal of the season with a smart pass into the box, while he also assisted Ferran Torres in a similar fashion for the Catalan side's fourth strike of the night.
Speaking after the game, Xavi alluded to the winger's game being hit or miss due to his risk-taking nature, before praising the ex-Borussia Dortmund star as someone who can impact matches.
"Dembele was in the spotlight because he takes risks, so it's all or nothing," he said, according to Sport.
"It had been three games with nothing coming off, but it did today, assists and a goal... he was especially motivated.
"He is someone who can make the difference and is capable of doing these things."
