With the historic derby between Real Madrid and Barcelona, ElClasico, set to take place once again on Sunday, Blaugrana star Raphinha has issued a firm warning to their eternal rivals ahead of the match.
'Toure Is The Best Player I Ever Played With'
On Sunday, the 100th ElClasico will take place at the Santiago Bernabeu, and Raphinha has admitted he is feeling a bit fearful ahead of the encounter. However, the former Leeds United winger also insisted it is Los Blancos who should be careful as the titanic clash draws closer.
"I'm a little anxious about the Clasico, but I'm fine with my head," the Brazilian told Marca.
"We're leaders. I'm not saying fear, but if anyone has to be a little careful, it's them.
"We're confident and we're going to do everything possible to win."
The Catalan giants will be looking to put what has so far been a disastrous European campaign behind them after they drew 3-3 with Inter Mila in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night, a result that leaves them on the brink of elimination from the competition.
Domestically, however, Barca have been near-perfect, with Xavi Hernandez's men having won every single game in LaLiga so far this season bar the one they played on the opening day of the campaign.
In five of their seven victories in the Spanish top-flight this season, the Blaugrana found the back of the net at least three times, and it is this clinical nature that sees them sitting at the top of the standings ahead of Real.
Pep Reveals 1 Team Standing In His Way Of UCL Success
With the two teams separated only by goal difference, a win on Sunday for either side will go a long way in stamping their credentials as LaLiga title favourites.
