AmaZulu have confirmed their new technical team following the departure of Brandon Truter a few days ago.
Truter's departure was confirmed on Thursday by Usuthu, after they were beaten 1-0 by KZN rivals Richards Bay at Moses Mabhida Stadium. The club was not impressed with the results and made a decision to part ways with the coach and they have now secured the services of Romain Folz, who was recently in charge of DStv Premiership side Marumo Gallants.

Folz will work with Ayanda Dlamini, who has previously been in charge of the team and will have the knowledge to help the new head coach.
The club confirmed that the deal is until the end of June 2023.
"I repeat my personal promise to our fans that I will do everything in my power to bring back the glory days at AmaZulu. We are championship material, there is no doubt about that. We can and will challenge for trophies both domestically and continentally. As the oldest club in the DStv Premiership, Usuthu is a heritage of South African football and therefore we must self-correct expeditiously whenever we hit snags," club president Sandile Zungu said in a statement released by the club.

Folz left Gallants under a dark cloud, claiming that there was interference in his job. He now has an opportunity to coach an ambitious Usuthu outfit, who are looking to compete with the big boys of South African football.
