Former Golden Arrows and Chippa United coach Lehlohonolo Seema has been included on a list of candidates for a coaching job in Ghana, the Siya crew can confirm.
Hearts of Oak, who are currently competing in the CAF Confederation Cup, are looking to replace Samuel Boadu, who parted ways with the club about a week ago. Boadu had great success with the Ghanaian Premier League outfit, winning 2021/22 league title, as well as back-to-back FA Cup titles with the club.

But the relationship with the club ended just three matches into the season and Seema is one of the coaches who have been shortlisted as a possible replacement for Boadu.
"It's been an interesting time from the time he left Golden Arrows until now. There have been clubs making enquiries and, for him, it was about family more than anything. He was not ready and he wanted to spend time with his wife and children. But when this opportunity (at Heart of Oak) came, it reignited something in him. He was really excited about it. This is one opportunity he is looking forward to. He feels like he is ready and he wants to go," representative Keke Mokoena told the Siya crew.
"I like that he did not want to rush from one club to another. It was not about the money. It was about him being in the right space. We are really looking forward to this and we just hope that things work out."
The Lesotho-born coach has been without a job in the PSL for some time now and is determined to make a return to head coaching. He will have to wait to see if he is successful for the vacant Hearts of Oak job.
