Former Barcelona striker Luis Suarez has admitted he was "amused" after Lionel Messi's nine big contract demands at the Catalan giants were leaked last month.
Ex-LaLiga Defender: Messi Gave Me Sleepless Nights
Amid rumours the 35-year-old Argentine could return to the Blaugrana next season, Spanish publication El Mundo obtained details of the demands Messi had made to his former club during contract talks in 2020.
Among the nine demands, one of them was for the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner's family and the family of Suarez to have a shared box at the Camp Nou, while others included details surrounding his preferred buyout clause and loyalty bonus.
Speaking in a recent interview, Suarez admitted he has found the reaction to Messi's contract demands at Barcelona comical, particularly the one that concerned him and his loved ones.
"It (the contract details) amuses me," he told Marca.
"It is something very normal in any player. If you check the contracts of any elite footballer, they should all have their box. I, for example, at Atletico Madrid, had mine; in Nacional, too.
"That's why all this speculation amuses me. Actually, Leo's thing was to try to make life easier for the club because, being shared by our two families, it was just a box.
