Ditlhokwe's Transfer Fee Revealed!

Ditlhokwe's Transfer Fee Revealed!

Following his shock move to Libya's Al Ittihad from Kaizer Chiefs, Thatayaone Ditlhokwe's transfer fee has been revealed to the Siya Crew.

In a move that has taken many by surprise, Chiefs defender and Botswana national team captain Ditlhokwe sealed a transfer to Libya's Al Ittihad Club.

Chiefs officially confirmed the news through a statement published on their website, revealing that the Botswana international has penned a deal with Al Ittihad Club.

Now, Siya sources close to the deal have now disclosed that the transfer fee for Ditlhokwe stands at a notable $850,000 (±R15 million). This sum sees the talented central defender making the move to the North African side in what could be a fresh chapter in his career.

Ditlhokwe is expected to travel to the Libyan capital, Tripoli, this week to meet his new teammates and Spanish head coach Juan Carlos Garrido. It will be a new environment for the player, and fans are eager to see how he adjusts to the Libyan Pro League.

The timing of Ditlhokwe's transfer, however, has raised a few eyebrows.

After a shaky start to the season and a period of uncertainty regarding his place in the team, the defender had recently managed to work his way into coach Nasreddine Nabi's starting line-up.

His departure now comes at a strange juncture, as he appeared to be solidifying his role at Chiefs. Despite his growing influence in the team, Ditlhokwe has opted for a fresh challenge abroad, and Kaizer Chiefs will now need to adjust their defensive strategy without his services.
