Chippa United have confirmed a new role for Morgan Mammila who recently returned to the club as part of the technical team changes.
As confirmed by the Eastern Cape outfit, the club has taken a significant step in strengthening its football operations by officially appointing Mammila as their first-ever Football Sporting Director.

The club made the announcement today, following Mammila's quiet return to the club last month.
After spending time away from the game, Mammila was carefully reintegrated into the club's football environment.
"The decision to formalise his appointment was made after thorough evaluation, ensuring that he is well-equipped to lead Chippa's sporting operations moving forward," the club said.
In his new role, Mammila will be responsible for overseeing the technical team, driving player recruitment, and strengthening the developmental and reserve team structures.
His appointment aims to create a clear pathway for young talent, ensuring alignment and continuity in all footballing aspects of the club, from youth development to the senior team.
The leadership of the Chilli Boys sees Mammila's role as a key factor in the club's long-term growth and success.

By enhancing the development structures, the club hopes to improve the identification and nurturing of young talent, which is essential for sustained competitiveness.
In addition to Mammila's appointment, the club has confirmed that Thabo September will continue as head coach, with Mabhuti Khenyeza serving as his assistant.
