Ernst Middendorp has been unveiled as head coach at a German club after parting ways with Swallows FC.
Middendorp took over the reigns at Swallows in December 2022 following the departure of Dylan Kerr.

However, the German's time in Soweto has come to an end after just three months as he takes up a position at German third division side SV Meppen 1912 e.V.

"The new head coach becomes Ernst #Middendorp . He most recently coached Swallows FC (Johannesburg) in South Africa's first division. He canceled his contract there, which ran until the summer of 2026," the club tweeted.
Middendorp leaves the Dube Birds with eight games left in the DStv Premiership, with the side sitting in 14th position and five points above the drop zone.
