Swallows FC head coach Musa Nyatama has explained what his philosophy is and how he is looking up to Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena.
Nyatama had to act as interim coach a couple of times this past season after former head coach Dylan Kerr was relieved of his duties in September last year and his replacement Ernst Middendorp also parted ways with the club in March this year to pursue a project in Germany.

The former Sundowns and Orlando Pirates midfielder, Nyatama was thrown in at the deep end to save the status of the Birds and he exceeded expectations after guiding the Soweto side to a top eight finish.
Nyatama was subsequently rewarded with a permanent post as head coach ahead of the 2023/24 season and now he has explained how he wants Swallows to play.
"I'd like to see Swallows play a good brand of football. We start from the back where we are able to make combinations," Nyatama said on Prime Sports With Mahlatse YouTube Channel.
"If you've watched our last four games, especially with the goals we've been scoring, it has not been something that is coming out from nowhere.
"It's something that we practice and do every day, but that does not come overnight, it needs time to work on it, it's a process you know. But I think the players are starting to understand how I want them to play," he said.
The 35-year-old went on and revealed that he is inspired by Mokwena.
"Rulani Mokwena has made South African football interesting, you know. He watches a lot of football, also the passion. He's passionate about the game. So, he's someone I look up to.
"He's got a special place in my heart," he said.
Nyatama also revealed that he built a bond with Mokwena at Pirates.

"He was very happy to see me as a coach and he has always said this before, maybe 2017/18, but I did not take him to consideration," Nyatama carried on.
"(He said), 'You'll be a coach one day' but I took it lightly. But look at what he was prophesying, it came true," he added.
