With a search for a new club ongoing for Moeketsi Sekola, the Siya crew has been informed of interest in the striker from Swallows FC.
As reported by this publication, the striker recently parted ways with Motsepe Foundation Championship side Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila after his contract was terminated.
According to sources, the club felt that Sekola was on a high salary and decided that it would be best to go their separate ways even though he had been their top goal scorer at the time with five goals.
It has been confirmed to Soccer Laduma that the Birds have been alerted to the player's availability and have showed interest.
"Moeketsi Sekola is a free agent and there are a few clubs that have already showed interest in his services. There is interest in the player from several clubs in the second tier, while Swallows is the DStv Premiership side that has showed interest in him. One thing is for sure, the boy will be playing football again in the new season and his handlers are working hard to make sure that it happens," said a source.
