Orlando Pirates' longest-serving squad member Happy Jele is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal, and is yet to hear from the Buccaneers about his future with the club.
The veteran defender's current contract with the Soweto giants expires at the end of this season.
It remains to be seen if "Magents" will get to sign a new deal that will keep him at Bucs further, or if he will look to move elsewhere. He will be eligible to do so in the coming transfer window in January if the situation remains unchanged.
Here's the views of some custodians of the beautiful game, the supporters:
"We don't need him." – kuhanye
"Some people don't know when they're no longer needed in a team. Jele, your time is up, papa, and if we fans had it our way, you would have left Pirates three years ago." – BIG-MIKE14_VERSUS EDITOR ROUND3
"No, Jele plays better than Gcaba, Nyauza and many others at Pirates. He must retire or go to a small team, his time is up at Bucs." – Nhlpato
"They must let him go, we thank him kindly for his long service, but it's time to call it a day." – chiefs is useless
"Long-serving player of the team, this was said about Oupa Manyisa, where is he now?" – mbixane
"These new guys won't win anything starting from Micho, Mokwena, Mhlongo, Gcaba, Gabuza, Sarr, Nyauza, Makola and Sandilands." – schillo Messi
Do you think Pirates should let Jele go?
