Injury-prone Kaizer Chiefs defender Tsepo Masilela is yet to decide on his future, with his Amakhosi contract coming to an end in just five months' time.
Masilela's deal has an additional one-year option, but it is unclear whether or not it will be exercised. The 32-year old suffered an injury in August last year, which kept him out of action for a few months. Masilela has reportedly returned to training with the first team, although he is still under rehabilitation.
Supporters Club members have shared their views as to what Masilela should do regarding his football career; here's what some said:
"Without him on the park, there's minimal forward movement." – boymasaka
"The guy deserves an extension, he still has some miles to run." – DopeZN
"He will be a SuperSport United player, as they always do." – Carder305
"Maybe Chiefs should keep him if you consider that Zulu is not a fully-fledged left fullback, he is more of a winger." – Schakos
"Time to let the oldies leave and introduce more youngsters." – Dnd_Gotze
"We need him, give him big money so he can stay." – Faysal
"Give him a three-year contract." – setlaboswana
"Time to let Masilela go, we won cups with him, but now it's time to let him go. We've got Zulu, Ntiya-Ntiya, Khumalo. No hard feelings." – khosiologists
Do you think Chiefs should extend Masilela's stay at Naturena, or let him go at the end of the season?
