With no more than 10 games left before the season draws to a close, it appears as though a certain Kaizer Chieds fan has given up hopes of winning the title, as teh club has not tasted cup glory in recent seasons.
This appears to come as a frustration to Amakhosi faithful, as they believe that a team of Chiefs' caliber should be performing at the highest of levels.
One of our members below shared his frustration regarding the current form of Amakhosi and, seemingly, has lost faith in both the club and its head coach, Steve Komphela.
He also explains why he thinks the Glamour Boys' chances of clinching the league title are slim: "I don't see us clinching any tittle under the mentorship of Komphela. He is a defensive minded coach who is just good at analyzing the game. How can you play five defenders yet you want to win the league? We lack numbers going forward, every team there is a cross in the box. You only find one or two players and we are poor on winning the second balls. He killed Maluleka, he was blossoming under Baxter but now he is lost. Kompi always study how the opponent plays, not how we are going to pose a threat. In his post-match interview against Wits, he talked about how they worked hard at training and stopping Wits down the flanks. Chiefs is a big team, opponents should worry more about us not the other way round. We used to be the most fearful team in the PSL but now we are mediocre, just another team. As for the title, I don't see Kompela getting five straight wins."- Great white shark
Do you think it's too soon for Amakhosi faithful to lose hope now?
