Gavin Hunt has been without key defender Thulani Hlatshwayo for over a month and now the experienced coach has provided a crucial update on the steely defender.
It's not often that Hlatshwayo is on the injury list.
After all, the man nicknamed 'Tyson' has gained a reputation for his workman-like fighting spirit and tenacity on the field of play.

Given that the 33-year-old's last game came in December 2022, indications are that the injury he sustained is serious. This has also seen him miss SuperSport's last six games.
Now, as the club looks to bounce back the shock Nedbank Cup elimination at the hands of ABC Motsepe League side Dondol Stars, Hunt has provided an update on Hlatshwayo as well as Luke Fleurs, another player currently on the injury list.
"We are really struggling to put the back-four together. Luke Fleurs is injured. We have all three centre-backs being out, we can't be losing Tyson and TT (Thatayaone Ditlhokwe), we need cover," Hunt told the club's official website.
"The absence of Tyson (Hlatshwayo) is a huge blow to us, he had a big concussion and concussions are always dangerous especially when you are playing in that area of the pitch heading the ball, so we are going to have to look and see what's the story," he continued.
Hunt will spend the next few days looking for ways to put together a suitable back four which could see the introduction of Bilal Baloyi at centre back alongside Thamsanqa Gabuza who was surprisingly deployed as a centre back by the coach in their last match.
