SuperSport United have decided against signing former Orlando Pirates player Wayde Jooste, the Siya crew can confirm.
Jooste parted ways with the Buccaneers after spending two seasons with them and was given an opportunity to impress SuperSport coach Gavin Hunt. He was training with Matsatsantsa for a few weeks, with the likes of Stephen Sama and Sibusiso Khumalo, who are looking for employment.

Matsatsantsa went into the market to sign Jooste's former Pirates teammates Thulani Hlatshwayo and Siphesihle Ndlovu, but the Tshwane side has decided against signing the right-sided player.
SuperSport CEO Stan Matthews explained to the Siya crew why they have decided against signing the 31-year-old.
"We are not taking him now. We have right sided players like (Iqraam) Rayners, (Guily) Manziba and (Ghampani) Lungu, so it's not a priority position for us," Matthews said.
Jooste remains on a list of free agents which includes the likes of Mthokozisi Dube, Philani Zulu, Happy Jele, Daniel Akpeyi, Thabo Qalinge, Thabo Rakhale, Mzwanele Mahashe and a few others who are hoping to find new homes in the near future.
