SuperSport United CEO Stan Matthews has voiced his displeasure with Mamelodi Sundowns' recruitment of his players, now starting as young as 13-years-old.
As it has happened over the last decade or so, more players switched floors from SuperSport to Sundowns and vice versa.
In this campaign already Kegan Johannes was signed by Sundowns so far, while Nyiko Mobbie and Ricardo Goss went the other way, adding to the ever-growing list of players transferred between the neighbours.
The relationship up to now has proven to be mutually beneficial as Sundowns pay a pretty penny for SuperSport's stars while in turn, having a solid establishment in which to send other players to United.
However Matthews has now questioned his rivals, stating that he is not being given an adequate opportunity to produce players that would eventually be bought by Sundowns or any other club as the Brazilians are taking away his younger players in the academy.
"Sundowns took nine of my u13s from my academy this year. So, if you're asking what's my relationship with Sundowns, do you think I'm happy that they're taking my 13-year-olds?" he asked members of the media at Multichoice City.

"They're not even giving me a chance to bring another Ronwen Williams, Kamohelo Mokotjo, Kermit Erasmus and another Shandre Campbell to South Africa.
"I'm not given that opportunity because at 13-years-old my players are being taken away from me. So, what chance do I have in the first team when a player who is earning this amount gets offered 300 times more?
"So, if any other club had offered me what Sundowns offered me for Kegan Johannes, I would have grabbed it without blinking. I can't be apologetic about doing the best deal for my club. I'm sorry that it happens to be Sundowns," he said.
