Pule made his Matsatsantsa debut against his former club this past weekend and had an inspired performance against the Buccaneers, where he found the back of the net in their 3-1 loss.
The club's assistant coach Arendse, who addressed the media in the absence of red-carded Gavin Hunt, was left impressed with the 32-year-old.
"He's a player you would have in your team any day. He's worked with Gavin and myself before so we know what he's capable of despite his age, which is still young," he told journalists.
"We've seen what he can do in pre-season training and especially in games. We've worked him in different positions around the team. He offered us a more attacking role, first in wider areas then we brought him just behind Bradley [Grobler]. He's got goals in him. Hats off to him for not celebrating against his former club, which is the right thing to do.
"That's just the nature of Pule and I think we're going to have a really good season with a player like that," he added.
