Ernst Middendorp suffered defeat in his opening two games as Swallows coach, although those defeats came against Richards Bay FC and Mamelodi Sundowns who are the top two sides in the league.
The defeat to Sundowns on Tuesday night has left the Dube Birds in 15th position on league standings, but a win could take the side up to 12th spot.
Swallows come up against a Chippa side looking to end a run of three games without a victory in the league.
The Chilli Boys drew 1-1 with Stellenbosch FC in their first game after the FIFA World Cup break last weekend, with Azola Matrose cancelling Junior Mendieta's strike for Stellies.
