Arrows, meanwhile, re-opened their season on a losing note, after a 2-0 defeat to Kaizer Chiefs on New Year's Eve, which was their third loss in their last five league matches.
Abafana Bes'thende are lying tenth on the standings with 16 points and will have a chance to get into the top eight.
