Chiefs lost their third league game of the season after a 2-0 defeat to Polokwane City who scored in either half through Oswin Appollis and a last minute goal from Mokibelo Ramabu last weekend.
Amakhosi are lying ninth on the log with 11 points from eight matches and a win could take them up to sixth on the table.
TS Galaxy, meanwhile, have steadied since the appointment of Adan Beganovic, as they are unbeaten under the Bosnia and Herzegovina coach.
The Rockets picked up their second win of the season, both under Beganovic, after edging AmaZulu 1-0 last weekend thanks to a late goal by former Chiefs forward Puso Dithejane.
The Mpumalanga side moved up to 13th on the table with nine points from as many matches.
Galaxy will be without three players, Marks Munyai, Mlungisi Mbunjana and Thato Khiba, all due to suspensions.
