Chiefs remained winless for a third successive game after they needed a last-minute equaliser by Ranga Chivaviro to salvage a 1-1 draw against TS Galaxy almost two weeks ago.
Amakhosi are lying ninth on the table with 12 points from nine matches and will be looking to finish the year at least in the top eight.
Chippa, on the other hand, are alsp on a rebound after a narrow 1-0 defeat to Cape Town City, who scored late via Kayden Francis a fortnight ago.
The Chilli Boys are placed eighth on the table with 14 points from ten matches, two points above Chiefs.
The Gqeberha outfit had the upper hand over The Glamour Boys last season after they beat them 2-0 in the reverse fixture on home soil thanks to goals by Bienvenu Eva Nga and Sinoxolo Kwayiba.
