The UEFA Europa League final between Ajax Amsterdam and Manchester United will take place on Wednesday, May 24. The Red Devils go into this encounter with determination to clinch the title after failing to secure a spot in the top four in the EPL. However, the Dutch side are no walkovers and will be a tough task for Jose Mourinho's men.
Highlands Park face off against Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday, May 27. The Lions of the North are aiming to remain in the ABSA Premiership, however, Masandawana are looking to secure a second spot finish to qualify for the CAF Champions league for next season.
Ajax Amsterdam v Man Utd (Europa League Final)
League rankings: Ajax 2nd (Eredivisie) Man Utd 6th (Premier League)
Useful facts: In the four games contested between these teams, going back to the late 70s, both teams have won twice, but it's Ajax that arrive in better form, with three wins from their last six, as opposed to United's two. However, having failed to make a top-four spot in the Premier League, there's no doubt that Jose Mourinho's men will give it their all and secure Champions League qualification by lifting the trophy.
Sergio Dos Santos: Very difficult. If they have a full team, United will win.
Highlands Park v Mamelodi Sundowns (Absa Premiership)
League rankings: Highlands Park 15th Sundowns 2nd
Useful facts: Pitso Mosimane's men will be demoralised by their failed attempt to win the title, largely as a result of their failure to win three of their last four games. But, with Cape Town City on their heels, their focus on the CAF Champions League may be in vain, should they finish third. They will also need to be wary of a relegation threatened Highlands Park that is undefeated in three games and will be going all out to save their top-flight status.
