In his way of describing the impact of Hugo Broos, Bafana Bafana captain Ronwen Williams has given a clear indication that the players have fully bought into his way of doing things and believe he is the right man for the job.
As captain of the national team, Williams gets to spend a lot of time with Broos and a lot of the coach's qualities have rubbed off onto him, as well as the other players in the national team. One of the biggest ones, according to Williams, is how relaxed Broos is.

This could play a big role for Bafana, especially during the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast in January, should they encounter problems that require them to keep calm and stay focused.
Currently in camp for the international friendlies against Namibia and DR Congo, Williams spoke glowingly of Broos, giving an indication of how much players appreciate his presence and experience.
"The guy is so relaxed and it rubs off on us, you know. The vibe and spirit is so high. He is so straight forward and everyone knows the way things must be done in camp. He puts down the boundaries and that's how he is. He does not compromise. You can see his demands are paying off. We can see that he understands international football and that's the most important thing. He understands how to qualify for AFCON and how to win AFCON," Williams said on Thursday morning at a 10Bet event held in Johannesburg.

"He has given us the platform and showed us if we do this and that, it's possible. The main thing is that he is so relaxed and he makes everyone calm. Imagine him telling us that everyone in the camp is going to play. The pool of Bafana Bafana players is so much bigger and anyone can play."
