Maritzburg United head coach Fadlu Davids has made it clear what "conversations" they need to have before facing Cape Town Spurs in a crucial PSL promotion/relegation play-off game on Saturday.
Maritzburg, who survived automatic relegation and finished 15th in the DStv Premiership season, started their campaign to save their topflight status on Wednesday evening.

The Team of Choice, unlike in the final round of the Premiership season, where they played their final game before their relegation rivals, played against Casric Stars who had already lost their first game to Spurs three days prior.
Maritzburg got their campaign off to a perfect start after beating Casric 2-0 courtesy of a first-half brace by Rowan Human.
However, Davids was "disappointed" after the game and believes they had "opportunities" to kill off the game and show that they are a PSL side.
The former Orlando Pirates coach says they need to show that "ruthlessness" coming up against Shaun Bartlett's charges over the weekend.
"Outstanding football at times, we scored the first goal, we scored the second goal, it's just really disappointing that we didn't kill off the game with the third and the fourth (goal)," Davids told journalists after the game.
"We are really going to change that mindset, the ruthlessness, the mindset, mentality going into Cape Town Spurs away. Because if we're a PSL team we have to show that we are a PSL team, that we can manage games.
"That's why I'm really disappointed we could not kill off the game. I expected the players to do (that), 2-0 at half-time, the possibilities were there, the crowd was behind us, we had a really fantastic passage of play to be able to score, kicking the ball against our own player," he said.
Davids went on and revealed that they will be focusing more on recovery than training ahead of the big clash in Cape Town and insisted that they have to change their mindset to be clinical against Spurs.
"Now, it's not about training, it's about recovery. These are the things we've got to have honest and clear conversations about, to be able to change it before we face Cape Town Spurs," he added.

Spurs also had a winning start in the play-offs after edging Casric 1-0 in their opening game.
The battle for promotion could be a two-horse race between these two sides after Casric lost back-to-back matches.
