As reported by the Siya crew, Pirates are keen on retaining the services of reinvigorated Terrence Dzvukamanja following his turnaround in form for the Buccaneers this season.
The player's agent Makaab, says although they haven't started talks with Pirates just yet, a meeting is set to take place this week, where he is hoping to secure 'a really nice' contract for the Zimbabwean international.
"I think Jose Riveiro has done an incredible job with Terrence. He's given him an opportunity and even when Terrence has struggled, he's continued his faith in him, and Terrence has rewarded Orlando Pirates. He's scored some vital goals on their way to the second-place finish, and we all know that the most important goal he scored was in the Nedbank Cup final," Makaab told Gagasi FM.
"I've read reports that we've entered into fresh talks with Orlando Pirates. I'm flabbergasted as to where that comes from, but I will be engaging with the football club. I will be engaging with the Chairman just to see where he sees Dzvukamanja's future, and I'll be sitting down with the player himself and speak to him about where he sees his future. So, I think a lot of it will depend on the discussions that I'm going to have. I'm going to be in Johannesburg for the balance of this week. I'm hoping that we I can get this addressed during the course of this week so that when Terence goes back to his home country, he knows exactly what his future holds for him, and that for me is absolutely vital.
"So there's a number of important meetings I'll be having this week in Johannesburg, and I'm hoping that I will find a solution for Terrence because he deserves a really nice contract going forward based on what he's achieved, but also important for Terrence is to understand what's made him successful and now to continue in that vein, not to say well, you know I've achieved this and now can rest on my laurels. He knows he's a top-class professional that you're only as good as your last game and so. I'm pretty excited about this coming week because I think it will unlock a number of doors and questions will be answered," he continued.
