Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane has explained why he is not worried about the club's lukewarm start to the new season, insisting that Amakhosi won't panic.
The Soweto giants have lost two of their first three opening DStv Premiership encounters, but Zwane is confident that Amakhosi, in the rebuilding phase, will eventually get it right.
Zwane's men lost 1-0 against Royal AM before winning 3-0 against Maritzburg United. In their last game, Chiefs got thrashed 4-0 by Mamelodi Sundowns, with the Amakhosi coach stating that they are over the defeat and their focus on the next game against newcomers Richards Bay on Saturday in Durban.
"We had a good session with the guys in the morning [Wednesday]. We reflected and took some lessons from Saturday's game," Zwane told Amakhosi's website.
"Our focus and energy is now fully on the upcoming game as we need to collect points. We know it won't be easy, but we will prepare adequately for Richards Bay."
The Chiefs new coach is optimistic that his troops will dish out clinical performances and beat other teams comprehensively.
"We will get it right. I won't panic. We need to work and do introspection and also look at ourselves, where we can improve individually and collectively as a team, and we'll get it right, do corrections," he told the media at Loftus Stadium.
"We will take the positives and negatives. We will take those negatives and move on because we don't want to find ourselves in the same situation and be beaten 4-0 again.
"So we would love to do that to other teams, and it's going to happen; I have that belief, it happens for a reason. With us, it's a work in progress. We'll get there; it might take some time, but we'll definitely compete at some point."
