Multiple changes of coaches and technical teams, lack of will up front, and lacklustre defenders proved too much for Chiefs as Pirates won thanks to a single goal by Evidence Makgopa. Chiefs need to go back to the drawing board if they wish to turn things around.
Mamelodi Sundowns became the first-ever champions of the African Football League (AFL) after they overcame a 1-goal deficit against Wydad Casablanca. Rulani Mokwena and his team showed their class by beating the Moroccan giants 2-0 on the day, and 3-2 on aggregate. Sundowns have now bagged a cool $4 million which will only mean one thing - Sundowns will get better and better.
