If you haven't watched the Lockdown League or need a catch-up on some of the first-round matches, the tournament has continued to gain traction beyond South African borders, as a couple of Premier League stars tuned in to watch Olympian, Wayde Van Niekerk, use Liverpool as he progressed to the next round of this virtual tournament.

Last week, HyperSocial together with Soccer Laduma and Reyaad Pieterse launched its first Lockdown League FIFA tournament, involving top PSL players, such as Reneilwe Letsholonyane, Aubrey Modiba, Aubrey Ngoma and Thabang Monare.

However, it seems like some big names have tuned in including Liverpool and African legend, Sadio Mane, so much so that he added the game between Van Niekerk (Liverpool) and Dylan Sage (PSG) to his Insta story. This prompted his Liverpool teammate, Roberto Firmino, to take a dig at Mane.
The current African Player Of The Year watched the 400m World Record holder face Sage in this highly anticipated FIFA match-up.

As Firmino saw the story on Mane's timeline, the Brazil international took a jab at Mane accusing him of stealing his celebration and requesting that he stops doing so. Ironically, Liverpool's number 10 has made it a habit to copy the celebrations of his fellow Reds teammates in the Premier League this season.
